...I live in Canada, and thought I will travel to Pakistan to get some experience. So I took my own gloves, steel toe caps, goggles etc all the PPE you can think of. On my first day to work they took it all off me saying I can have it back when I finish my shift. I asked why? I was told all this safety lark is a work hazard. lol

I worked at a factory in Miami Ok USA that made leaf springs like those... but we didn't make them that way! Lots more automated equipment, large scale volume, but inside that factory it was hot, loud and miserable during the summer.
